Welcome to Mcron Hills School, located in Benin City, Nigeria. Founded in 2021, our school is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where students can flourish academically and personally. Our primary focus is to identify and develop the unique academic and non-academic capabilities of each student, with the aim of harnessing their strengths to their fullest potential.
At Mcron Hills School, we follow the Nigerian school curriculum and offer a wide range of subjects including mathematics, English, social studies, and more. Our experienced and dedicated team of teachers and class assistants, most of whom are university graduates with expertise in the education field, are committed to providing quality education to our students.
In addition to our rigorous academic curriculum, we take pride in our A-class infrastructure that provides opportunities for various extracurricular activities such as basketball, soccer, table tennis, golfing, drama, theatre, music, and more. We believe that a well-rounded education involves not only academic excellence but also the development of skills and talents beyond the classroom. Currently, we have 148 students who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.
We strive to create a safe and inclusive space where students can explore their interests, develop their strengths, and reach their full potential. While Mcron Hills School is still in its early stages, we are committed to continuous improvement and striving for excellence. We are proud of our students' achievements and progress, and we look forward to celebrating many more accomplishments in the future.
Our mission is to prepare students to contribute to and succeed in a rapidly changing society, enabling them to help make the world a better place.
Empowering children to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them to participate and contribution to the global world. Thinking globally and acting locally.
Field trips are part of the instructional program, providing experiences that enrich classroom offerings. Students may go on field trips during the school year. Teachers often plan related instructional activities before and the trip. Children may be taken on field trips that require transportation. Such trips are made only with the parents permission. Walking trips within the school area are considered a part of school work and may be taken without written parental consent. A classroom teacher and usually one or two other adults supervise all field trips.
Children from pre-school to primary class are asked to have a homework journal which should be signed each night by their parent/guardian. If a child has any difficulty with his/her homework, please note it in the homework journal as the class teacher checks the journal daily and/or comments or messages can be left for class teachers on the EDU-SLICK student/parent hub.
Parents/ guardians are responsible for their child’s conduct enroute to and from school and are encouraged to work with the school in establishing and monitoring good behavior.
Children are encouraged to eat a healthy and wholesome lunch each day. Crips, big bars, fizzy drinks and chewing gum are not allowed.
As a parent or guardian you must let the school know if your child is absent from school and the reason why. It is school policy that reasons must be given in writing or text messages.
Please be informed that most of our school-related messages are conveyed to parents via text messages, emails, communication book or EDU-SLICK parent hub. Please inform us if you have changed your mobile number or email.
